Goals and Accomplishments

After I receive my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, I plan to attend a graduate school to earn my degree in instrumental conducting.  During my time in graduate school, I will seek opportunities to attend conducting symposiums and music education conventions when possible.  Upon the completion of my Master’s degree, I will pursue a career as a public school music educator, preferable at the secondary level.  During my number of years as a high school director, I will be looking for opportunities to audition for a conducting position in a military band.  Regardless of whether or not I am able to find this opportunity, I will eventually apply to school to work towards my DMA in instrumental conducting.  With this degree, I will apply for positions on conducting faculty at various schools of music at the collegiate level.
