Lesson Plan- Kindergarten
Description of Assignment
While planning this lesson plan it was important to think of age appropriate material for the Kindergartners. This lesson was planned carefully over the course of two meetings for writing the lesson plan and another two for visuals and running through it. The lesson incorporates activities that meet the Grade Level expectations for their development. This accurately fulfills the criteria for Accomplished Practice 10 by:
- Plans lessons that meet students' musical interests and needs
- Plans and sequences of instruction that lead to the maximum learning of music
- Connects subject matter to the Sunshine State Standards
Artistic Processes/Medium
No artistic processes were used in this illustration
Rationale
I chose this assignment because it is the basis for all the planning i will be doing in my future teaching. It most importantly connects the subject matter to the Sunshine State Standards and also meets all the students musical interests and needs.
