Description of Assignment
While teaching at Forest Hill High School, I interacted with the students at a high level of professionalism. I arrived to the school on time and in the appropriate attire. I dealt with the students in professional manner when they asked questions or had behavioral issues. This activity fulfills the Accomplished Practice #6 by:
- Demonstrates professional concern for students
- Adheres to relevant code of ethics for music teachers
- Meets expectations regarding attendance, punctuality, and record keeping

Rationale
I showed up to teach on time and always ready to go dressed in appropriate attire. I also went to all after school rehearsals and interacted not only with the students but with the parents as well. I feel at the high school level, since the students are so close in age with myself, that I needed to be as professional as possible in order for the students to respect me as their teacher. Below is an example of one of my lesson plans while I was interning at Forest Hill High School. While teaching this lesson, like always, I demonstrated professionalism through its entirety.
