Description of Assignment
Throughout our eight required teachings the teaching assistants of MUE3330 each visited one of our teachings, on separate occasions. They observed my teaching and then after the class talked to me about what went well in the lesson and what could be improved upon. In addition to the conversation an evaluation form is sent through e-mail with how well you meet the criteria and their comments. These examples of continuous improvement accurately meet Accomplished Practice #3 by:
- Seeks feedback from students, parents, and other professionals
- Uses the results of assessment as the basis for self-improvement in teaching
- Uses the results of assessment as the basis for self-improvement in teaching
Artistic Processes/Medium
No artistic processes were used in this illustrationRationale
All of these types of evauluations are a great way for me to really get a sense of how successful my teaching went. I get so wrapped up into the whole first time teaching experience that I can not always see or hear what I need to improve on.
