Video Camera to record lessons
Description of Assignment
The assignment was to use a camera to record one of your lessons which later would be evaluated by the class. I set up a video camera so that you would be able to watch and hear my teachings. When the class met for our video tape seminars we were able to view this tape on the overhead and I received comments from the class on what I did well and what I could improve upon. This meets Accomplished Practice 12 by:
- Uses learning media, computer applications, and other technology to enhance instruction in music
Rationale
This video taping is a great example of Accomplished Practice #12. It shows that I have used technology to enhance instruction in music because reviewing these tapes and assessing myself will make me a better teacher in the end.
